Backup2009 Pro Description
History  images

From the history you can view quickly all jobs done with the backup or copy status.


History from the WIndows Explorer  images

History is also available directly in the Windows Explorer. You don't need to open the program to check the status of your scheduled backups.


Catalog  images

In classic backup mode a catalog is generated during the process. The catalog is useful to access to information about backuped files without the need to open each archive file to locate files. Catalogs are XML files. Catalog is built in search function.


Log files   Images

Log files can be genereated as html file or as pdf file. In this case you need to have the free Acrobat Pdf reader installed on your computer. 


  
Agenda   images

The Agenda lets you to view scheduled jobs and last tasks run.  From the Agenda you can schedule any script or metascript, modify scheduled tasks, access to the task properties or remove the scheduled task.
Geography  images

The Geography is a quick view to locate what is backed up and where.



Retention period

When you define a retention period, as soon as the delay is reached oldest archive files and log files are removed and the catalog is updated.



Archive files   images

From the archive files functions you can dispaly any zip files (not only Backup2009 Pro files). You can search for files included in archive, but also through all zip files stored  on a folder. You can also verify and repair zip files, split or merge multiparts archive.
